CUT BY HAND, IN OUR WORKSHOP
Every piece is made by hand in our Australian workshop, one at a time. Dean selects and cuts our opals himself, so nothing here is mass produced and nothing is sent overseas.
Each order arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity recording the stone's origin, type, weight and the jeweller who made it.
Shipping & delivery times
We offer free worldwide express shipping. We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped you will receive an email with tracking details. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Returns, exchanges & resizing
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
If your ring needs resizing, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it so we can arrange it as quickly as possible. Most of our rings can be resized up to three sizes larger or smaller, although this depends on the individual design, setting and gemstones.
Please ensure you know your correct ring size before completing your purchase. We are unable to accept returns due to an incorrect ring size once a ring has been purchased.
Certificate of authenticity
Every piece from Dean G Premium Cut Opals is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, giving you complete confidence in your purchase. Your certificate confirms the details of your jewellery, including the gemstone, carat weight, precious metal and any additional gemstones, providing a lasting record of your special piece for years to come.
Caring for your opal
Solid Australian opal is more robust than people fear, but it isn't a diamond. Treat it like the natural thing it is and it will outlive all of us.
Do
- Wash in warm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft brush
- Store separately in a soft pouch, away from harder stones
- Wear it often, opal likes being worn
- Send it to us once a year for a free check and clean
Don't
- Never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner
- Avoid bleach, chlorinated pools and harsh household cleaners
- Take it off for gardening, gym and heavy work
- Don't leave it in direct sun or extreme dry heat for long periods
